UC Riverside Pipe Band
MISSION
Formed in 2000, the University of California Riverside Pipe Band's mission is to further the tradition, history, and culture associated with the Great Highland Bagpipe and Scottish-style drumming. Our goal is to develop and encourage local talent in a supportive environment that welcomes all participants who wish to contribute, regardless of age, gender, or background. The UCR Pipe Band prides itself on a reputation of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct towards our own members and toward fellow pipe bands as well. The UCR Pipe Band supports the UCR Alumni Association and Athletic Association, in addition to numerous off-campus, community-based entities.
“The Fusenot Foundation has become an important piece of the educational aspect of the Riverside Pipes and Drums Foundation mission. Being able to provide outside educational expertise to our members is an important aspect of our growth and professionalism. We appreciate the financial assistance the Fusenot Foundation has provided us over the years.”
Judy Conacher, President
Riverside Pipes and Drums Foundation
The members of the UC Riverside Pipe Band are very grateful for the support of the FUSENOT FOUNDATION.
The grants have been used to help pay for our Piping and Drumming instructors, as well as uniform costs and other general needs of the band.
This support from the Fusenot foundation has been critically important throughout the COVID-19 pandemic when other sources of revenue for the band were limited.
