Awareness, Support, & Research

The Fusenot Foundation aides organizations that provide awareness, support,

and/or research of disease and cancer.

MISSION

The Salk Institute embodies Jonas Salk's mission to dare to make dreams into reality. We explore the very foundations of life, seeking new realities in neuroscience, genetics, immunology and more. We are small by choice, intimate by nature, fearless in the face of any challenge. We live to discover. Be it cancer or Alzheimer's, aging or diabetes, we understand that every cure has a starting point. Salk is where cures begin.

“On behalf of everyone at Salk, we extend a heartfelt thanks to the Georges and Germaine Fusenot Charity Foundation for their support. Their generous contribution provides critical funding that allows the Institute to respond quickly whenever extraordinary opportunities arise or our scientists need resources to pursue promising new directions. By giving us unprecedented flexibility to meet the rapidly changing needs of our researchers, the Fusenot Foundation’s partnership will be instrumental in accelerating the process of scientific innovation for which the Salk Institute is renowned.”

MISSION

The Center for Oncology in Pediatrics (COP) Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non‐profit organization dedicated to saving children’s lives, reducing illness, pain, and preventable death for those who suffer from cancer and live in the Cali‐Baja Mega Region. We raise donations and provide funding to fully pay for treatment to financially challenged families who deal with this deadly disease. Additionally, we strive to bring awareness to the plight of sick children who are in need of financial assistance to survive childhood cancer. All funds raised by the COP Foundation directly benefit the children and families being attended at The Centro Oncológico Pediátrico de Baja California, A. C., located in the city of Tijuana, Baja California, México.

“On behalf of all of us at the Center for Oncology in Pediatrics Foundation as well as over 1,430 children and their families we have served at the COP Medical Center, we kindly extend our warmest hearts and extreme gratefulness to the Georges and Germaine Fusenot Charity Foundation for their very generous contributions. These funds greatly assist us in continuing to treat and save children’s lives suffering from cancer on a daily basis. Your philanthropic generosity had made an immediate impact on many children’s lives as we provide them with full medical treatment free of any charge thanks funding received from foundations such as yours. We look forward to working together with you for many years to come”.
